3 Months Old

It was Ben's 3 month birthday on Saturday, which was great because he got to spend it with his daddy and both grandmas. Daddy and Ben watched the Iowa State/Iowa game together. Kandace and Jared's wedding was on Saturday and we had a lot of fun! It was an absolutely gorgeous day that day and the wedding was beautiful! The girls all went for manicures and pedicures the morning of the wedding, which was awesome! The grandmas brought Ben to the reception for a little while. Brenda took pictures of us, which I will post when I get the CD in the mail.

Ben has been busy this past week. He has been rolling over like crazy! On Monday, he rolled over at least 3 times. He is rolling from his tummy to back. He can really hold himself up on his tummy and its really cute! He has been rolling from his back to his tummy on our bed for a little while, which we are pretty sure is by accident, but this rolling is on the floor and it seems like he is trying to do it.

Ben has also been working on crawling already. We really think he is going to be an early crawler. He was hanging out with Daddy on the bed the other day and he was on his tummy. He scooted (Nathan calls it the watermelon crawl) about a foot from where he was laying to Nathan. Nathan yelled and told me and I didn't believe him, until I went in there and Ben did it again. We are going to be so busy when he starts crawling! He is going to take off and never look back! He is already trying to move forward during tummy time. He definitely has the strength for it!

He is babbling away all the time, but now I call it jabbering because it seems like he is actually trying to say something and use sentences because he just keeps talking and talking. And he looks at you or things while he is talking, so I think he is having conversations, we just don't know exactly what he is saying. He is a lot of fun and we sure do love him bunches!!!

He was not digging our little photo shoot on Monday.
