Happy St. Patrick's Day

I love St. Paddy's Day! I guess I am proud of my Irish heritage (My maiden name is McKay after all) and love any good reason to drink beer and cook something different. We had Nathan's homemade Irish red beer and Nathan had some Guinness to celebrate the day. I also made homemade Shepherd's pie for the first time. Nathan and Brenda both liked it so I guess it was a success. We had a good evening and were all in good spirits! Cheers!

Ben and Papa Cary

Ben loves his Papa so much! They always have so much fun playing together! They are going to be best pals for life! We have been trying to get him to say Papa but it hasn't happened yet. We hope to get him to say it by the time Cary and Brenda go back to Iowa.

Family Time

These pictures are from when Cary, Brenda and Elizabeth visited us the last weekend in February. We had a great time that weekend and Ben had so much fun with his grandparents and aunt! Unfortunately, Cary had a mild stroke that Sunday while they were here and has been stuck in Kentucky since then. We have enjoyed being able to see Cary and Brenda so much and Ben is really getting to know them, but we are very sad about the circumstances that have allowed this to happen. Cary is in a rehab facility and is recovering but it will take some time. I just wanted to post some pictures from their visit.
