Ben enjoyed opening his presents but did not open all of them on his birthday. When he would get one present open, then he would want to play with it instead of open another one. He is so silly! He did not open all of his presents but he did open the ones from his great grandma Pat, his grandpa and grandma DeVore, his aunt Elizabeth, Chris & Lesley, and one from us. He opened some on Saturday and some on Sunday. In fact, I am writing this on Tuesday and he still hasn't opened all of them or had cake yet because he was sick! It will just be extended birthday fun!!!

We are planning to go to Iowa for a week at the end of July and have a birthday party for Ben while we are home, so we didn't make his birthday quite as big of a deal as we would have otherwise. We enjoyed our day even though Ben wasn't feeling great and our plans ended up changing! We can't wait to have a birthday party for him on July 24 in Iowa!!!
